MILITARY TRAINING WAIVER Application

You are eligible to bypass the NMHCA training requirement if you meet the following criteria:
  • If you have obtained nurse aide-related skills and training through your military service within the past 24 months.
  • You must complete your testing within six months of your eligibility to test.
INSTRUCTIONS: 
  1. Complete and submit this Military Training Training Requirement Waiver Application.
    • Upload an image of your military documents showing you have obtained nurse aide-related skills and training through your military service within the last 24 months.
  2. Once approved, you will receive an email with your Username and Temporary Password to sign in to your TMU© account.
  3. Please refer to the New Mexico Nurse Aide Candidate Handbook for instructions on Completing your Account and other important testing policies and updates.
